Ever wake up in the morning with a............

Crazy thought stuck in your head[?]

For about the last week i have been tossing around multipull different ideas for my hotrod(65 Chevelle Malibu SS, 327) and woke up this morning with a very crazy idea.

EFI TRIPOWER!!![}:)][}:)][}:)]

I don't know why, but its all i have been able to think about all day long.

I've always been a fan of EFI over Carburated and with more of a Mopar backround, I have been around a few 440 sixpacks and REALY liked them[:p]

So...... What do you guys think[?].... Is this just a crazy thought or is it actualy something that is possible[?]

    Lately, I've been waking up with the thought "You really ought to get up early and go into work".

    It's weird.

    But not so much that I can't just hit the snooze button and curl right back up.

    Possible, cause its already been done. Look around there are Stombergs that are gutted and are not just throttle Bodies. I'm sure I read somewhere of it being done as a tri-Power.

    It's not crazy! If you think that's crazy, take a look at my street motor, 850-900 horsepower and 10 miles to the gallon. Fully programable EFI.
    I've seen a set up like your talking about, i just can't place it right this second.

    Original tri-power ran on the center two barrels. Front/rear barrels opened as needed. Took a lot of tuning to avoid the excessive cfm throttle lag. I had mine set to open slow/late. Much better street performance. Can you duplicate that with EFI? I assume we're discussing throttle body injection here. Port injection requires computer programming (chip set up electronically).
