Seriously, its a REALLY bad idea to take a real gun and make it look like a toy gun.
I like the idea of a home-made finish (in concept), but IMO, he could have proved the point just as well with black, grey, or Olive Drab.
By the way, anyone know how difficult it is to refinish a revolver like this? I have a decent shooter-grade smith that has had the bluing nearly worn off most of it.
Do you need to strip off the bluing first?
Any major disassembly required?0 -

I think this is the 4th time this photo has been posted in the past several months. It keeps getting relisted by the dealer.
Some crook may buy it since any cop who sees it will think it's a toy. [:0]0
