I see a lot of names here, Interested in who

mouse
the next president is? How come no one is coming over to politics?
We are looking at a choice between continued war in Iraq, more
infringement on our personal freedoms, 5 supreme court justices
being nominated by the next president. The continuiing defaluation
of the US dollar, the continuing borrowing of a billion dollars
a day from the Chinese Government. This next election is crutial.
I know talking about candidates doesn't solve a thing. There
are some issues that every United States citizen needs to fight
for.

    mouse...a few of us slide over there to read and post, but we really get tired of the extremely negative nature and trolling of a certain few over there.

    I drop in there and then slide back here to read and post.

    some time it's just so viral overthere its like visiting the dark-side. I do on occasion sneak in and out mostley just to read, once in a while I do answer a thread, not often. I type (and think) to slow to argue.

    I'd rather submit to a vasectomy with a rusty spoon than endure the bloviation I see in the politics forum.

    At least here, we get some good rib recipes.

    That isn't to say that I'm not interested in politics. I'm just not interested in what other people think of politics.

    If you're not a Ron Paul fan, prepare to be drawn and quartered in the Politics Forum.

    The sad part about it is that Paul is a good candidate --- the wackos that are backing him are running potential voters away with their "our way or you're against the Constitution" rants.

    I made the mistake of supporting John McCain, who I think will be the GOP canidate.

    Quick GB Politics primer...
    1)Ron Paul is God, John McCain is the anti-Christ.

    2)McCain and Hillary are exactly the same, no difference.

    3)Ditto Obama, except he is black.

    4) if you support anyone BUT RP, you are anti-American, anti-gun, pro-UN one world goverment, and probably like to hurt puppies as your hobby.

    SO be prepared

    I don't check out the Politics forum for the same reason I quit posting anything having to do with politics or our country in general, here. Disagree in even the slightest way with some of the people here, and you're the next best thing to a traitor, or simply a pitiful fool. I'd continue to post if there was any reasonable chance of intelligent discussion, but that, too, I've been informed, is un-American and the refuge of sheeple. True patriots are interested in and tolerant of no one's point of view but their own.

    I guess the whining will continue forever.
    America became great because the greatest number of people where awarded the greatest possible amout of freedom possible.

    That allowed the full force of human ingenuity to flourish, unfettered by government intrusion.

    Anything that takes away from that is bad.

    Politicians that wish to increase their own and the power of government are BAD..period.

    Those supporting politicians that wish to increase the power of government are simply voting themselves down the drain.

    I have absolutely no objection to that.

    Save for the fact they also drag ME down that same drain.
