Fur prices on the rise!

A good friend of mine went and sold his Ginseng today and told me they were also buying fur's at descent prices. I can remember when coon hunting wasnt just for fun, alot of people depended on the fur as part of their yearly income. Same as trapping fox, then the prices dropped to where they werent worth selling. Sounds like good news for trappers and coon hunters.

  i used to make top money every winter here hunting wallaby and possum for their furs...then the greens kicked up a stink and got it so the feds wouldnt issue export permits for them so the industry died out...i still miss doing it

  I'm convinced the decline and disappearance of several ground nesting game birds is the result of the decline of the fur trade.
