Anyone ever heard of this virus.?.?.?
All of my email just mysteriously disappeared...inbox, sent, outbox, drafts, saved, etc, etc...this is the first time I've ever encountered this one...

Did your provider restruckture thier email server?
Not long ago I lost everything includeing my address book when my provider did this. It really sucked as I was not given any warning that it would happen.0 -

Is it Outlook (or some other local email client) or a web-based email service? If web-based, I wouldn't worry about it, it will probably reappear shortly. If it is a local client, you have bigger issues.0 -

Do you have a button entitled "Folder LIst" up of the top? You could have accidentally clicked on this, than all would disappear, click on it, see what happens. 0 -

My folks use Outlook Express and this happened to them about a month ago. They had it back in about a day. I hope this is the same for you. 0 -

I hope I didn't screw something up by using the system restore, b/c I tried going back a couple of days to see if that would fix my problem...It did not.0 -

Search your harddrive for *.pst or *.ost and see if you find any.
They will not reappear on their own.

In our household that wouldn't be a virus! It would be my wife doing one of her mysterious mouse click/drag/drop/poof actions and innocently disavowing any knowledge of what happened.[:D] 0 -

I assume(you know what that gets us) that you cleared the cookies, web history and temp Internet files? Search your computer for *.pwl and see if there are the right number of files for users on the computer. If not, try deleting the odd named one and see what happens, also scan scan scan for virii.. 0 -
ecc i know the last email you sent me i could not open my anti virus wouldn't let it thur you may want to run a scan but on the other
