    No, the oil is fossilized plant material. As animals usually are, the dinosaurs were just window dressing in a world filled mostly with plants.

    I believe that dinosaurs were a race of supreme beings that were forced into extinction by early man's abuse of burning coal and oil to power the machines of the first industrial revolution that lead to the first ice age that took place August 2nd 1978 and lasted exactly 2 minutes and 41 seconds. This event was followed shortly by the third coming of Christ who turned out to be married and he was sent back down to Earth because he evidently forgot the eggs again.
