    And to top it off, most of the officers in Baltimore are as much of a crook as the people they arrest. If you are a drug dealer you will more then likely get robbed by a officer before you will get arrested.

    I don't know, all the kids I see anymore are a bunch of smart mouthed little brats with no respect for the law or anyone else. Being brought up in this permissive society has bred a generation of disrepect. Don't know the right answer to the problem, but a backhand to some of these kids smart mouth wouldn't hurt.

    He's driving a golf cart and is probably no more than a male "Meter Maid". He needs a skateboard up his fat azz. I hope he gets charged with assault against a minor. He had no right to touch that kid.

    In defence of the police officer, it is obvious that the kid is out of line, he should be sniveling on his hands and knees offering to perform unnatural sex acts at the cops discretion, I mean come on look at this guy a jelly donut in a twinkie-cop car, if that dosen't command respect then the fact that he's man enough to wear those booty-sox should.
    This was handled very badly and there should and i'm sure will be repercussions, the polly-anna cop is going to be lucky if he has a job after this. and he shouldn't have one in law enforcement. He's a bully and very lucky thats not my kid. pissed me off watching it.

    Kudos to the kid that took the video. I'm surprised the camera wasn't confiscated. As for the "cop," with a uniform like that he won't get any respect from anybody! I've seen milkmen in better uniforms. Of course the kid didn't have the presence of mind to call 911, and ask for a real cop.

    What's with the handcuffs in front? Surrogate cojones?

    Thanks for reminding me Baltimore is not high on my list of places to visit. Gotta go check on the "dudes" out back, and make sure they got the irrigation line buried right.

    He is a real cop. That is Baltimore's Inner Harbor Patrol uniform and they drive electric carts around.

    If that was my son and the officer called me the only thing I would be mad at the officer for is the fact that the officer didnt shove the skateboard up my sons ASZ!!!!! I think the officer was trying to scare the smart asz kid, and try to teach him a lesson about respect.

    Back in the 80's some skateboarders started messing with the back parking lot where I worked at the time. This was a private parking lot, and they would move the long cement blocks around to make ramps. They would leave the blocks and scraps of plywood where ever they felt like when they left. Every Monday morning and occasionally during the week we would have to put the parking lot back in shape so cars could actually park in it.

    One day they showed up during business hours. I went out and grabbed the skateboard out of the hands of the leader and told him if he wanted it back to bring his parents to get it. I took the skateboard inside and waited to see what would happen. A while later a cop showed up and got both sides of the story. He got the skateboard back from me and told me I couldn't confiscate other people's property like that, and then told the punks they couldn't trespass on other people's property and do whatever they wanted to on it. He told them that if he caught them vandalizing our property again he would arrest them.

    The punks weren't happy that I didn't get arrested for theft, but they also learned that messing around at our place was going to cost them a lot of trouble. They never came back.

    If I had been caught doing acting like this when I was their age, I would have been beaten by my old man after the cops got done "educating" me down at the station. This kind of punk behavior was dealt with back in the 50's and 60's. Today, this punk behavior is rewarded, al la Jena 6.

    Didn't mean to offend you SS. I also didn't know you are in favor of a dictator style police state.

    And that cop has the balls to say the boys are disrespecting the badge and department.
    The truth of the matter is that cop is a disgrace to every decent cop that has ever worn the badge.

    What would be wrong with taking the nice approach? Like hey looks like you guys are having fun...but your not supposed to be riding skate boards here so you'll have to go somewhere else...ect.

    I'm not making an excuse for the cop, but how about a little respect for authority, Dude!. When I was his age, if I talked to any adult like that, let alone a Police Officer, I'd have gotten that skateboard broken across my azz.

    I saw his Mom on the news here, saying her son did nothing wrong, she wouldn't accept an apology, ect . . . ect. . .
    It appears her parenting skills are as lacking as that Officers people skills.
