One hand or two??
[}:)]I think that any true gun nut that has to hold his handgun with two hands to fire it is a wus!!!! It's called a handgun for a reason...not a twohandgun.[}:)]

I use a two hand, two foot method. People at the range do give me strange looks when I kick off my boots to fire my Hi Point. 0 -
depends on the gun,
shoot my 1911 almost exclusively one-handed, get some amazed looks when other see my groupings.0 -
I was taught to fire one-handed, as a target shooter or a duelist. It is alot of fun to shoot one-handed with your weak hand and watch peoples faces. The same with shooting a rifle from the opposite side. 0 -
Try to shoot two handed, but also workout with one hand and left hand. 0 -
I shoot two handed on most occasions. IMO, you can get alot more accurate high speed followup shots with a 2 handed grip. I also shoot one handed and off handed now and then to be in practise incase SHTF and I sustain an injury preventing a two hand grip.
Just seems silly to me to shoot exclusively one handed, why handicap yourself? Does anyone really think you can shoot better one handed over two handed if you had practised both styles equally? Or do you just do it to look cool? When practising something that my life may depend on in the future I don't care too much about how cool I look doing it.0 -
I do the majority of my shooting two handed, I guess that makes me a wuss.[:D]
Unless its the Moss 500 12ga with the Knoxx stock on it, thats a lot of fun to shoot one handed.0 -

Picture a guy nicknamed "Shorty" about 5' 3" 110 lbs. on a good day standing at the firing line with a brand new S&W 629 6". The gun is loaded with 300 Gr. SWC. Doing his best "Dirty Harry" one hand stance, he pulls the trigger and burries the front site into his forehead.
One of the best buys I ever made, a "like new" S&W 629 and a box of ammo with 49 rounds in it.....[:D]0 -

i generally practice with 2 hands for accuracy. with my carry, i practice left right and both hands for those, "oh, crap!" situations. 0 -

I'll counter that anyone who has to use sites on a handgun is also a wus!!!!!
Handguns were made for hipshooting with one hand. [:D][:D][:D]0 -
I think it depends on the situation. I wouldn't take time for 2 hands if I was being shot at. For targets with time to spare, why not? 0 -
