Oil is a commodity. From any reasonable perspective, half of any gallon of gas you buy is middle eastern. If all sales outlets in the U.S. stopped supplying middle eastern petroleum, the price would be driven up because we would be importing from less efficient areas and the middle eastern oil we previously imported would replace that which we bought.
The only way to reduce the amount of money going to the middle east is to reduce consumption of oil.0 -

This list isn't accurate. Every company puts x gallons of oil into pipeline here, then takes x number of gallons out there. It all gets mixed up. And another thing, BP bought out Amoco years ago. 0
