WISHing for the old SARCO
How nice it would be IFFFF more of the "people-behind-the-counter" at SARCO's retail store in Sterling,NJ were as pleasant & good-spirited as in the recent past !! WE old-timers ( and, maybe, some sincerely hungry novices to the hobby ) have put our proverbial 'heads' together at many a gun show, and sensed a most DEFINITE collapse of civility within the past 2 years or so !! We all miss - especially - 'Big GEORGE' (God bless his wife SANDY) who really cared.......BUT some other truly nasty people tend to fall down stairs even IF they are (lousy) gunsmiths...... Charlie,, open your eyes !!

Young ANDREW is a pleasure for the public to deal with at the current ( BATF - betroubled ) SARCO, but 'Randy' ain't dandy ( EVER !! ) even if he falls down stairs so easily, and 'T-J' is gone anyway so we won't bother explaining why that is an apparent improvement. Charlie, I guess good help is hard to find, because you've hired some thieves along the way!! Your missing inventory proves it so according to the gunshow grapevines!! Mazel Harah !! 0 -
I took a trip to Sarco many years ago and was like a kid in a candy store. There was so much stuff to look at! Had to be about 25 years ago. 0 -
Brother CHRIS,, it ain't the same no mo', bro' !! It 'used to was' all simply fun,,,,,,, Don't feel bad 'cause Charlie got mucho rico, AND there are always the decent people at GUN PARTS (old Numrich) in W.Hurley, NY to deal with INSTEAD!! .......Funny/sad memory = Sarco's prices are 'arbitrary' depending on how the counter-people see just how very much you really want/need a gun part : : : Example > a $2.00 screw is $7.00 at RANDY'S SARCO, but only $1.00@ (unlimited) at GunParts....nuf-sed?? 0 -

Hi REDDNEK,,,, their mail-order business probably survives because they are dealing with strangers who never deal with the 'PERSONALITIES' face-to-face, unlike the Stirling retail counter.....maybe the feds will close them down because of all of the "missing" inventory/stock.....who "shives a git" ?? 0 -
They were closed down some years back. I believe it involved class 3 problems. Never got satisfaction from a visit there.
I did better with Numrich when he was alive. You could fish through his parts bins for the best parts.0 -
