Beta Mag Questions

RUGERGUNZ
1st. What is the cheapest price and where to get them?

2nd. I have one for an AR-15 and would like one for a Mini-14. Would it be better to buy another for an AR-15 and change out the mag tower? Then it could always be returned to AR-15 status.




I am planning on lots of magazines and ammo purchases for this upcoming year.

    So far I have seen the best price direct from Beta unless someone has them on sale.

    They have 2 main mags (unless the 308 is out) the 9mm and the .223. Then you can use whichever tower fits your gun and caliber. From what I have heard you should keep spare towers on hand any how as apparently they are a wear part.

    Not really an answer to your question, but I've heard about an aluminum 150 rd. magazine in the works.

    This reportedly stems from some very bad experiences our military personnel have suffered due to tower failure with the Beta.

    Thanks guys. When I buy another I will buy one for an AR-15 and get an extra tower for a Mini-14. That will leave me a backup tower for the AR-15. I will probably order an extra AR-15 tower besides.

    If hitlery or obamama get in they will be banned again. Do you think that we will still be able to get spare parts like towers? I can't remember if you could from the last ban.

    Txs, I would think a 150 round aluminum mag would be extremely heavy when loaded. But I would buy one in a heartbeat.[:D][:p]
