New Truck
My wife took me today to buy a new truck.I told her i wanted an f-250 super duty,and she could pick any color,She chose solid black,one red pin stripe down side and silver and red inside. Sure is a nice lookin truck,like the style on the new ones.I just bought a new 150 3-4 years ago and he dosent know it yet but my 2nd eldest son just inheareted it as they need another vehicle.I,m having it detailed now and he will get it next week on birthday.I did talk to my other children and they agreed he would benifit the most by it.Nice to be able to talk thing over with your children without then gettin hurt or angry,I,m a proud dad.Thanks,Paul

List price 35,000. Minus five thousand in insentives. $30'000 minus 2000 for my trade in. Minus 2000 down payment. 26000 right. The dealer came out with 27,830? I'm going in tomorrow to see how this is possable. I don't need the truck that bad.What do you all think? 0 -
I thought that I got the deal of the year on a new Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 today until I got home and saw that gas went up another $2 per barrel. I still think that we did OK, less than 22K for a brand new Quad cab. 0 -

New Truck
I bought a new Chevy Avalanche And returned to the
dealer yesterday Because I couldn't get the radio to work. The
salesman explained that the radio was voice activated.
'Nelson,' the salesman said to the radio.
The radio replied, 'Ricky or Willie?'
'Willie!' he continued and 'On The Road Again' Came
from the speakers.
Then he said, 'Ray Charles!', and in an instant '
Georgia On My Mind' replaced Willie Nelson.
I drove away happy, and for the next few days, Every
time I'd say, 'Womack,'
I'd get beautiful music from Bobby, and if I said,
'Dells,' I'd get one of their awesome songs.
Yesterday, some guy ran a red light
And nearly creamed my new truck,
But I swerved in time to avoid him.
I yelled, 'Ass Hole!'
Immediately the radio responded with,
Which one, Rush Limbaugh, Glen Beck, or
Sarah Palin?

98 Dodge Ram 2500 DIESEL 4x4 automatic longbed extended cab. Been looking for the right one for a year now and I had to drive 250 miles for this one. Body and interior is in very good shape, and miles are a O.K. (220,000) Not bad for $9k. 0 -
Well, we took delivery on our new Tundra Monday. Kinda hard to stop driving it.
If there is anything this thing doesn't have, I don't need it.
REALLY nice feature is the auto-dim rear view mirror. Really neat at night.
Constant readout of gas mileage, outside temp., fuel miles remaining,direction of travel, & a lot of other equally important stuff.
18" tires, 8-foot bed, 4-door double cab that my Dane really loves.
I could go on & on but I'll spare everyone.
I'm happy & i guess that's what matters most.

While picking up the wifes car from being serviced I walked the lot.

5.7L hemi, has a computer chip upgrade as well. I am not really sure what the purpose of a chip in a 3/4 truck might be though. I thought the chips were for added performance in acceleration and such. 0 -

I will never buy an Dodge or anyother car/truck that it's parent company makes. An dealer in Arkansas put in aftermarket parts in my sister car and it went up within 2 weeks. They will not replace because they said they told her. This is what they said to me that they said to her "we have to go to town and get the parts". I like Chevy and Ford.

Locally we have 2 Dodge dealers within 20 minutes drive. Both have great customer service. Our Chevy dealership sucks, and the 2 local GMC dealers have mixed reveiws. Our Ford dealership went belly up, closest one now is about an hour drive, and I don't know much about them.
I really wanted to get a GMC or Chevy 3500 shortbed diesel, but this Dodge was such a great deal I couldn't pass it up. They also gave me $8000 on my '03 Ram 1500 shortbed std cab w/t, so that sweetened the deal even more.0 -

I have Owned everything but a Studebaker, incuuding 3 Dodge Trucks over the years. They build a good truck. I currently have two Fords, One Chevy and one Nissan. the last Dodge I owned (86 D250) Is still running. 0 -

Thanks for the heads up. I'm going to run it by the dealership and have them give me a list of the documented maintenance, and I'll ask them about the chip while I'm at it.0
