Ya know, all of these body piercing that have become so popular over the past decade or so, are really not particularly safe. There have been numerous accounts of body jewelry getting caught on various things in the environment. This can result in the jewelry ripping through the flesh, causing excruciating pain and potentially dangerous infections... not to mention you'll have blood all over your clothes.
Tattoos are a safer alternative... so long as you don't get an infection while being inked.
But hey, do whatever you want - body jewelry is still a freedom preserved in this country so long as your at least 18. But most people will know where those horrible scars came from.0 -
