    In addition to a tail wind, it looked like he landed long and passed up a bunch of very needed runway.

    First time I have ever seen twin engine jet taxiing in a lake. Whats that old saying.... "You know your in a lake when it takes full power to taxi to the terminal"

    If that was a towered airport, why did the ATC let him land in that direction. He wasn't out of fuel, he had enough to taxi around in the water.

    I'm not a pilot, nor do I play one on TV.

    Is it SOP to try to get your plane to shore and, if so, is it SOP to bring your plane back to the middle of the body of the water afterwards?

    Seems to me like if I made it to shore, I'd park the plane there.

    But, then again, I'm not a pilot.

    Nice JET boat. I suspect he went in a circle cause only one engine was running. Works OK on land where you can steer, not so good in water.
