New PLymouth Cuda???
A friend of mine told me that he read somewhere that Plymouth was coming out with a new cuda???
I spent last night surfing the web and found no information about this.
Anyone else hear of this???

Ford was smart to release the restyled Mustang in 2005 when gas ws cheaper -- now GM is releasing the new Camaro in an era of $3.00 gas.
Seems like there's always something going on to kill the muscle cars...0 -
I'd consider an 09 Camaro if they'd put in a real engine, but rumor is they are only using a 5.3L v8

I'd like to see the specs for that engine. If its put together right that would be Darn fast for a "stock" car.

You probably couldn't find it because the "Plymouth" name died in 20010 -

rumor has it that the new challenger will be on the streets this year .i am surprised that the brass at chrysler dont produce a cuda .seems the cuda is bringing more attention in the muscle car world .i'm pretty sure it would sell as good as the challenger .i know i'd be tempted to buy one .i'm tempted to buy a new challenger ,i had a 71 then a 70 cuda and liked them both . 0 -
That concept has a 6.1L. Thats a 372. Not quite a 440, but it looks great. I think they should run with it. 0 -

Plymouth is dead. The Barracuda should go into the history books instead of swapping the hood from a new Challenger and calling it a Barracuda.
With $5 a gallon gas they couldn't sell two gas guzzlers....maybe one to the baby boomers....but not both.
I think the new Camaro on the other hand is silly. They won't sell.
A: GI's can buy Ford Mustangs and Dodge Challengers while overseas from the military car sales........Chevrolet's are no longer sold to military overseas. GM lost that market.
B: A smaller Camaro packed with the straight 5 from the Colorado with a turbo, 6 speed, and rear wheel drive would have sold faster than they could have made them to the new drifting kids. The new Camaro won't be bought by them.
C: The El Camino brought back would have been a better seller....no market competition.0 -

The 2002 z28 stock beats the 2008 Charger R/T in 0 to 60, 1/4mi, braking, and top end.
That 74 must have had something other than a stock factory motor, in 74 the best you could do was 245hp 383.
The only chargers/challengers that could out do the 2002 z28 in 1/4 mi were the 440 six pack and the 426 hemi.0 -

Don't need it. FIL has got an original.
My dad had a 74 Callenger for about 2 years but had to sell it for a "family" car. Wish I had that car now.0
