When you guys think of Nebraska, what type of terrain do you think of[?]
I had a customer come in the store today from out of state that was in total shok of all the terrain changes throughout the state... He said it wasn't anything at all like he imagined[?]0 -

I'm headed there for a few days sometime this year. Haven't scheduled the trip yet. Not high on my list for the winter!0 -

Like the Dakotas no? There should be an east Nebraska (flat to gently rolling hills) and a west Nebraska (buttes and badlands). Can't say I've been there, but that's what I think I've heard.

Actual... The only part of the state that is flat is right along the I-80 route.
Nebraska is actualy quite diverse,
To the south/south west of the state it is all rolling hills covered in pine trees.
To the north/north west(Panhandle) its all sandhills... Miles upon miles of BIG rolling hills made intirely of SAND!... Literaly a desert with grass growing in it... You can go for fifty miles without seeing a tree[:0]
To the south/south east the state is VERY heavily wooded with a few rolling hills here and there.
The central/north central/ And north east parts of the state are by far my favorite parts of the state... BIG rolling hills that are heavily wooded with pine trees and HUGE canyons that rival some of the ones found in colorado or montana.... I should drive up there to take pics for you guys... Its truely amazing[^]
Like i said before, the only "Flat" part of the state is right along the I-80 route... And its flat because I-80 actualy runs right through the middle of a valley that runs the whole length of the state.0 -

Any time I ever had to drive through Nebraska I had to pull over at some point because I couldn't see with the ran coming down so hard and the wind blowing 50 mph +, saw lots of cows, smelled lots of cows, saw lots of corn, flat land. Not a fan of NE, sorry 0 -

Thats considered normal weather around here, Don't know why you'd have to pull over[?]... Unless you were looking at something thats Nebraska home grown[^][:D][:p][:p][:p]

I might have crashed into a cow if I seen her. No, really, it was a micro burst of something, with heavy rain, semi's pulled over or got flipped over, or both. This was between 03' and 05' sometime.0 -
I have driven though it may times on my way to somewhere more interesting. All I remember seeing was wheat, corn, hay and a State Trooper about every 5 miles.... 0 -
