Fox or CNN
This might have already been posted in the past, but I just started out here. If I watch anything on TV, its the news. I usually have the TV set to FOX news channel. But I work 48 hour shifts at work and they only have CNN there. Do you guys see these stations as I do? I see fox as a total GOP/conservative network with CNN as a Democrat/liberal forum. Fox is great about complaining about other news networks promoting their own agenda, however i think I see them do the same dang thang.
Whats your thoughts other than this guy posting this must be bored on his day off?

I do not view Fox as a truly conservative news station. I think they try to keep a balanced view, but I see them as being fairly liberal in their news reporting. 0 -

I like my news chewed up and swallowed for me. And then I like it regurgitated, and spoon fed to me at sattelite speed, over and over and over. I watch Fox. I just love how sheperd smith glorifies the news with his voice inflections, He force feeds me my news. [xx(] Other than that, most of it is OK. 0 -
I get all my national news from Fox. Are they conservative-biased? Maybe, maybe not. But I AM! Nothing twists my shorts as much as having to listen to a CNN newscaster putting his subtle twist on the news. And boy they can do it. 0 -

They are mouthpieces for big business and/or the government (same thing any more!)

...The regular network news is beyond hope. Most libs I know realize the mainstream networks only offer one side, the liberal side; and take it with a grain of salt and will when convienant...glean a talking point or two to use [:D].
...MSNBC/CNN or beyond pathetic, seldom if ever do they offer a rebuttal viewpoint, and begin every point with a false premise and allow their guest no matter how absurd the comment, to go unchallenged.
...FOX on the other hand as for political guests, will almost on every occasion have commentary from both major parties; maybe a genuine attempt at fairness or at least views from both sides, generally opposing views. At least this allows the viewer to have a basis to start from in formulating their own opinion(s) that's not a one sided biased presentation or missrepresentation of facts left unchallenged. I don't think anyone should accept what is said in any news broadcast as a be all end all on any subject.
...The regular networks and MSNBC/CNN have major agendas to push, offering two viewpoints, especially liberal viewpoints is not conducive to furthering their liberal agendas, or competing well in the arena of free ideas.

I at least see the other sides arguments on FOX. I never see CNN do anything but liberal spin, and some of what they say are outright lies. I'll stick with FOX and take it with a grain of salt, and I never trust anything I hear on CNN, period. 0 -
Apparently somebody doesn't watch FOX when Colmes or Geraldo Rivera is on. Rupert Merdoch is backing Hillary Clinton for President. That makes it "balanced" and "moderate" enough for me.

FOX is moderate at best. Sure, it's further right than CNN but that's like calling Hillary conservative because she's not as liberal as Obama.
Secondly, folks call FOX conservative because they have a handful of personalities that don't go along with the mainstream media. The FOX personalities that DO go along with the mainstream media don't draw as much attention because they're merely "more of the same". FOX is much more close-to-center than CNN. I'd hardly call FOX "conservative".0
