Drew, MS is in the upper end of the Mississippi Delta. It seems like this Manning family has been in the delta region since around 1850, give or take, having come out of South Carolina. Anyway, the location of Drew has reminded me of the Bobbie Gentry song, Ode to Billy Joe since it is in the same general Mississippi Delta location sang about in the song, so I pulled up a youtube link for your enjoyment should you like delta type music:
