Bought a 2yo hot tub...
from my sis in law, brought it home Sunday. I steel-wooled all the "red-wood" on it today, and put 2 coats of sealant/stain on it.I believe she's gonna be ready to fill tomorrow afternoon.NOW, i have been informed that the wife has found about 300 paver-bricks on Craigs list. FOR FREE.SO, i guess my weekend is all planned out.
The hot tub is a "Leasure BAy" unit that seats 5, and is 7'X7' INSIDE.3HP 3speed motor and 2 speed blower.12 jets and 30 Air nozzles.This thing is gonna be sweet.The unit is 2 years old, but sat in my sis in laws pool store for the entire time, and the acid/chlorine fumes ruined the bearings in the pump motor.
She had the 3 HP motor replaced, 6 mo. ago, and sold the tub to me Sunday for,,, get this,, ,$200!!![:D]
I believe i'll be enjoying this hot tub for MANY years to come !!

Well your electric bill just went way up. I just drained mine last week & won't be refilling it until at least Easter & maybe later if it's still too cool then. 0
