You don't have email. Sorry, yesterday's joke.

Hey, I did my good deed for the day. Drove a skydive jumper back to the drop zone.

Poor SOB got lost and wandered around in the corn field for 2.5 hours before showing up on my deck. He was from Belgium and didn't know how to get out of a corn field. He was tacking back and forth looking for a way out. He was worn out and dehydrated. I think he thought he was going to die out there.

    BTW, I don't know what they are talking about either. Maybe your opinions on religion?

    ahh....NOW YOU GUYS KNOW why i edit my posts! i do something people did before spell check.....i proof read![:D]
    also too, i cant type and ive gone thru 3 powers of glasses in the past year alone! its not as easy to see anymore![:(]

    cant be me, i dont have an opinion on religion...but i do have one one christianity and american morals.[;)]

    I hit the preview button. Sometimes the finished product looks a little different than when I typed it. And alter the text accordingly. I correct for parse/spelling, never the content. Joe

    PS..I'll never edit content once it's posted. And I always "reply with quote". It allows the viewers to more accurately see what I responded to (read: no alteration). Best, Joe

    I'll edit my post for grammatical and spelling mistakes. I never edit my posts to change the context of the post though.

    bingo....

    if i hadnt improved my english papers in college, i would have settled for a D. but our prof always handed it back with a grade 3 times during the semester and told us, if you want an A, rewrite it ot you can turn this in for a D, C, B etc.. wherever i stopped was ok with him. i kept going until it was an A and as i did, i learned how to improve. i learned real quick to never be satisfied with the first draft. and it was my fortune too, i married a playwright who always looked over my shoulder and hinted to changes to express myself better. its stuck to this day.[;)]

    Why not proofread BEFORE hitting Post New Reply?.. ..You could hit Preview, and then see what is wrong with the post, close the window and change it, all before you hit Post New Reply..

    I figured he was thinking of me. I wind up editing almost all of my posts after I look at them for a moment or two. I don't change meaning per se, mostly spelling or grammar, sometimes reword it.

    They are my posts and I'll edit them anytime for any reason I damn well want to without explanation to the Hoopleheads.

    because i work on a 486 computer and if it blinks while on preview, i lose everything i type. so i get it on line...so if the computer blinks, at least i can go back to on line and edit. forget word 97. aint worth the time going back and forth to 97 word to on line to word....[xx(]

    its just easier to put it on and edit later. besides, its what makes PERSONAL computers....PERSONAL. its the way i like to do it.[^]
