I dont know what the cost is but with the suspect food we are feeding our animals with it might be a smart idea.
The other thing is that some types of cats and dogs are more suseptible to illnesses. And most dogs dont get toothcare untill to late.0 -
Don, I know a guy that is looking into it right now. He is into his vet for $6500 right now with his Golden Retriever that is on her way out.
He said at work today that if they get another dog, he is getting the insurance.0 -
I have a policy for my Yorkie through Banfield.
My wife pays the bill so I don't know the cost.
My dog gets all the shots, teeth cleanings, etc.
She got an ear infection and it was covered. Only had to pay $20 co-pay for the meds.
Like all insurance...it sux to pay for it until you need it.

I'm pushin 50, and grew up on a farm in Jersey. I had many pets that "wore-out" we shot and buried them. I don't know if that is wrong or right, it's just the way it is.
I have a dog now (not my idea)that is young. It will be old ,in another 10-12 yrs.I don't suppose it will meet the same fate as my "farm pets" of yore,but it will be "UTHENIZED"(sp).If she gets hit by a car,golfcart bicycle, train.

I read a news story today about a woman that had a policy on her cat.
The cat died and she still has to pay the monthly fee.
They said it was not an insurance plan but a 1 year program and she is stuck.
Read the fine print.

I'm not to worried about the "well care" The accidental ingestion or auto accident coverage is what caught my eye, Daisey can gobble things up pretty quick, and it looks like it would be covered with the $10.95 quick care.
