FrankF got me to thinking!

He asked if my ribs were doing better, and in my answer I told him they were worse since I've been throwing up lately.

Got me to thinking. I was okay yesterday, and took two of the pain med's before I went to sleep last night. Then, I was up three times sick to my stomach.

I think I'm going to forgo the med's tonight and see if I have the stomach trouble. Maybe that's what's tearing my stomach up.

    Dang! I hope I did something right today! If your getting the tummy problems you don't want to be making a nice ulcer to go with the ribs.

    To be honest, Thats why I dislike meds. When I blew my knee out years ago, I was eating vicoden <sp> like candy and not only did it relive the pain. I ended up with a nice ulcer that led taking more medication.

    It is darvocet. I'm taking two at bed time to help me sleep. I'll skip it tonight and see how it goes.

    I'm praying you've hit the nail on the head. I didn't even think about it. I just thought I had a stomach flu or something.

    eat something light with it, don't take that on an empty stomach, or it'll burn a hole plum through the liner, may cause you an ulcer as frank says[;)][V]

    If you only need it for pain ask your doc for darvon, darvocett has anti-inflamatory meds you might not need, or are already taking with OTC meds like tylenol or motrin. (but only take it at bedtime, because it will put you out)
