It looks pretty rough to me. This rifle is only about 30-35 years old. Imagine what sort of life it had. Then think about how little work it would have been to keep it in decent shape. Sad. 0 -

First thing I would have to say if anyone saw me with this rifle.

Honest wear is one thing, but, seriously, would anyone here admit to maintaining their rifle in this manner? I'm not trying to diss the buyer or seller. Just a little rant on gun care.0 -
Thanks everyone that participated. I got it from a gal I went to high school with. Her husband died four or five years ago and she had left it in the closet as she only had daughters.
I doubt if she should get all the blame though considering the BS buttplate that was on it.
Anyway with a little TLC it should come back strong enough for hundreds of hours of plinking.[:D]0
