These make great wallpaper for the computer.....to bad they are slapping a $20K "marketing adjustment" on it.............oh and I heard no stick shifts until next year just 5 speed autos....

NOW that is a good looking automobile IMO
although the interior needs some more steel less plastic.

Yeah that puts the price tag at $58K, I would rather spend the $58K on a 1970 or 1971 Challenger 440 R/T.
Same thing with the new Bullit Mustang, it stickers for $36 and they are adding a $20K "marketing adjustment". So basically you get a mustang GT with rims, different interior and badging, and an exhaust for way to much $$$ IMO.0 -

It don't have enar the appeal (to me) that my 74' had. 0 -
i cant find any reference to any "marketing adjustment" or any such thing.
i did go to the dodge website and spec out a 08' challanger. there are almost no factory upgrades. it comes pretty much loaded. only one motor(6.1 hemi), one suspension package. you can up the rubber, the radio and pick your paint. thats about it. the price quoted for all upgrade options, 41,035.
little rich for my blood, but i might consider one in '10ish.0 -

Went in two days ago to reverify the warranty on my truck. Dealer had a SuperBee sitting up front.. $47k dollars. WTH for a 4 door? Plus you have to add the gas guzzler tax. It was rated 18mpg highway... I would put a little with it and get a Vette or a low mile used Vette for less.0 -

Thats dodge...looks good outside and lotsa plastic inside...The wife just got a 2006 pacifica loaded and the inside is cheesy i think...0 -
I think market adjustment means the dealers will be adding a $20k markup to sticker. They did that with the Chargers when they first came out.
$41k fully loaded Challenger SRT is the same price as the Charger SRT.
I'd buy one if I didn't already have the Charger (for sticker, not over)!0 -

Dealerships do a "marketing adjustment" because of the limited supply of a vehicle. They know people want to be seen driving this car and they are going to cash in on it.............

When I bought my wife's Eddie Bauer Expedition in '99...it was marked up...they called it "limited availability fee".
I negotiated w/the dealer and managed to have them drop that fee.
Sold the Ex. 2 years ago...now they're a dime a dozen.0 -

The two small scoops have a butterfly flap that opens up under hard acceleration to act as a ram air set up. I am unsure if it is ducted to the engine or not.0 -
Greed may cause this car to fail.
Added $20K marketing fees along with expensive gasoline is not a winning combination for the average buyer.
They're trying to copy Ford's success with the Mustang, but forget how Ford failed with the Thunderbird retro.
Ford initially stated the T-Bird would sell in the mid 20's, ended up in the mid 30's. The project failed, and the T-Bird has been discontinued.
The average buyer can get a 300HP Mustang GT for around $28K or less.
The Shelby's run a lot more, and maybe that's the market Chrysler's after, not the average buyer. That also limits the amount of cars they can sell.........0 -

I saw one of these at the auto show last weekend, and it is BAD@$$!!! I was really impressed. If they can keep the price down they will sell a lot of cars. 0 -
