silver bear

I just bought some silver bear ammo for my 30-06, it's a bolt action springfield, it says non corrosive and non reloadable. is this ammo going to hurt my gun?? Im just plinking with it not for hunting " just for the bang" you know for fun.... it was so cheap i could not help myself. I know you get what you pay for..

    Not yet. I just ordered 500rds. from AIM for $119. Supposed to get here today.

    Used to shoot lots of it in 9mm. Not bad plinking stuff. Never had a FTF or any problems at all with it. Kinda dirty though.

    I went over to AR15.com and they have a forum on ammo. Didn't see anything bad about Silver Bear other than it being dirty. I'll spend more time spend cleaning but it's getting hard to afford to shoot the good stuff.

    Had some Silver Bear .45 jhps one time and really liked them, but I can't find them anymore. Any help as to where I can find some?

    We shoot alot of Silver Bear 9mm and the guys that shoot it with me like it and the 223 stuff is vg and fairly accurate. It's getting harder to find and I see you ordered from Sam here on Gun Brokers. He is a very nice guy to deal with and we order alot from him.[:D][:p][^][:0]ammunitioncenter here on GB

    My Rock River AR hated the .223 but fired wolf laquered case just fine. Got all sorts of jams with silver bear.

    UPS just dropped off my 500rds. of the Silver Bear. Now if the weather will cooperate I'll see if my AR likes it.

    They used to offer .410 buckshot and slugs in full brass cased rounds. Just the ticket for one of those little Siaga 410-AK Variants.

    Apparently they were a military contractor for the Russian army. What I've heard is that the 410 is the Russian army shotgun of choice?!

    I bought a case of 62grain Silver Bear last spring ... its ok for plinking, I don't think I ever did better than 3-4" at 100 out of any gun I've shot it from ... several different AR's, Daewoo, HK-93 clone, Sig556, AUG.

    What suprised me the most was the consistancy ... didn't shoot really well or really poor out of anything I tried it with.
