plantar fasciaitis --- you better start wearing Birkenstock shoes. They saved my wifes feet(same problem). 0 -

I have the PF too. This helps: Whenever you can, plant the ball of your foot on something solid that is higher than the heel, and then STRETCH that Achilles' tendon. I do this when standing by putting my right leg behind the left, bringing my right foot around and setting it atop my left and then stretching the right Achilles' tendon. 0 -

What Nunn said. You need to get some good arch supports and wear them. Dont get out of bed ever without stretching your feet first. The morning is when you can do the most damage by not stretching after sleep. Get a small bottle of water and freeze it. Whenever you can during the day, roll your archs with the frozen water. If you dont take care of the PF, it can linger for years. Never, go bare foot again. 0 -
I heard about PF on the radio, otherwise I wouldn't have known what the problem was. I looked it up online and found that some doctors prescribe special splints to be worn while sleeping. The splints force the foot upward, putting a stretch on the Achilles' tendon. I decided to adopt the same principle on my own, and it works. 0
