Looking for a 1X scope

does anyone have a good idea of who may still make a quality one power scope... has to be one power to be legal in my state for mzl. huntin... thanks

    Get a quality red-dot sight (as long as they are legal). If not, here is a good choice:

    With my experiances with 1x scopes, Your better off just to shoot open sighted.

    You can be very accurate with open sights when using the proper form and having the right sight picture.

    I ran into this same problem when i started muzzleloader hunting over here in Nebraska. I tried many different 1x scopes and finaly said poop on it.

    Just my 2 cents.

    I have a Nikon BuckMaster 1x20 matte NP , been on my Omega for 1 season , been a darn good scope but think i'm going to stick with open sights , if you're interested in it , i would like to talk to you about it

    If you're gonna go single power, why limit your field of view?
    At least with open-sights, you can see your target coming into the sight-picture..

    Just wanted to say to the people recomending iron sights that some of us have eyes that dont focus well on iron sight alignment and the target at the same time.

    get a piece of PVC pipe and som fishing line and make yer own.

    Some of you evidently don't have the problem of aging eyes, and the inability to focus on things close in. For older folk, the 1X scope, or the red dot sight, makes excellent sense.

    You can focus the ocular piece so that the crosshair image is sharp for your eyes. The optics place the image of the sight and the image of the target on the same visual plane, all in sharp focus.

    Field of view isn't affected as long as you shoot with both eyes open.
