For the record, it was I who told the bad word filter to change a certain three letters to another three letters, but that was over TWO YEARS AGO.
I have made no changes in the filter in many months.
I agree with dheffley. Leave out the profanity, as required by the published rules, and you won't have a problem.
I also agree with SaxonPig. If you don't like the way things are done here at Gunbroker, find another forum.

It's not the rules. The rules are fine. The ownership is fine, the filter is fine.
I have been "poofed" by all of 'em. I don't have a problem with Ben, Nunn, Heff, etc. Know why? They have class. They have tact. They are secure within their own skins.
The other "mod" is ill. Plain and simple.

I was made General Sales Manager over one of the largest Ford dealers in the country at the age of 24. I had 45 people under me. I was a jerk and had no tact or respect for those who did not bend to my iron will. My way or the highway. You got a problem? Tell it walking! I lost, and fired, a lot of good sales people and was on the chopping block myself, when a grisled old veteran of many car wars took me out for a drink one night and taught me the difference in motivation and domination. He was a retired Chief Master Sarge from the Air Force.
I changed my way of treating people. I gave up being domineering, pompous and cold. I became a calm, fair, guiding motivating force. You know what? It worked. I got the things I wanted accomplished and we had fun, lost no sleep, and I EARNED the respect of those that worked under me. We set all kinds of sales records and won almost every award you could win, made a lot of money and enjoyed coming to work.
I have never forgotten the gentleman who set me straight. I hear his words everyday to this day. My employees today love me and I love them. They will kill for me, and I them. And not because I am soft.
