Modifying Profile
I'm trying to shed my old AOL address for a new one. (Leaving dial up behind and going with a high speed digital hookup. Wow1)
At any rate when I go into my profile and replace the old address with the new I get a message that the email address is already in use and I should enter another. Creating a 3rd address instead of going from 2 to 1 is not the direction I want to go!
Is this a common problem? Easy fix?

I think this is a software glitch because it has happened before. I have tried, as administrator, to change a member's email address, and got the same message.
Suggestion: Go to the auction home page, go to Help at the top of the page, and open a support issue. The auction site doesn't officially support the forums, but this is a problem that no one here can address, so they probably will.
