Thanks John. I've searched evry way I can think of and still can't get any results on that site. I've tried Little Sharps, Little Sharpes, charles daly and no results. Do you have any suggestions?

Make it "three months".

I used "Charles Daly" as my search term.

I am a big guy and to me this rifle is more for a smaller person. I like the look of it and it is made nicely. It is not as nice as my Quigley Sharps but close. Very accurate but fussy with ammo as to what it likes.

had a thread or two on this & never found out anything...are they built by chiappa???...mfg inquiry might garner some info on company general quality standards...i would really like one in 30-30 or 357 which i now reload with spire point for single shot rifles

i handled one in 38-55,but for over 1000.00 i was not to impressed. they have some bugs that need worked out. i bought a new browning low wall for a little more and i think it,s twice the little sharps. eastbank

Buddy of mine bought one in 38-55 and he is somewhat unimpressed. Had to re-work the triggers and, of course, it slugs at .380 which can be overcome but still a pain. Have heard of one in 45 Lc and the guy loves it. I think one in 25-35 would be hoot.

I have a friend who bought one in .22 Hornet and loves it! Says it shoots under 1" at 100 yds with scope. He called stright to the distributer in Montana and special ordered this caliber.
I didn't realise it, but the same folks who first brought out the original Little Sharps, also distribute the Charles Daley Little Sharps.

The Little Sharps was worked out by two guys in Big Sandy,Montana (population 500) and sold as essentially a hand-built rifle about a third lighter than a conventional Sharps and in small game and deer calibers, modern ammunition ones, oddly enough like the very first Sharps were made. I've heard a lot of pleased comments about those. At some point in the past few years Dakota Arms came to some sort of agreement with the founders to make it more of a production gun and I've seen a few of those at gun shows but not talked to any shooters of them. Now Charles Daly is importing them instead so could well be Italian made...so there's been 3 very different manufacturers on the Little Sharps in just the past 10 years. The Dakota's seem overpriced to me as I've seen a lot of Shilohs and they aren't as nice, while the Daly's versions are hundreds of dollars less. I'd look for the original ones from Big Sandy, "Little Sharps Co." was the business name and website name I think at least back in 2003.

they are un-naturally small.. suggest you get a Shiloh, C. Sharps, Pedersoli, or such.. can't go wrong with a 45-70

Have had one for a few years now. Very small and took some getting used to. The sights were not to my liking - they should have put a rear sight on the thing like the originals. I replaced the tang sight with one that has windage because it shot way to the left. Shoots cast bullets about an 1 1/4" at 75 yard. Good as I can see. That was the Ultramax factory load.
You would probably be happier with a full sized rifle - they are a lot more comfortable.
