Reserve auctions rant again-
Will anyone join me in urging sellers to forget reserve auctions? Its so dumb really, especially when you set a buy it now price. You just know that the reserve is not much different from that. Since GB doesn't charge you based on the beginning price why not just set your minimum and get it over with? What the hell is the difference , if someone wants your item, if and when they hit the minimum you want they know it. Better still everyone could just not bid on reserve auctions. What little I have sold I set my lowest price and go from there. If I am wrong someone please tell me, maybe there is something I have missed. What does it benefit the seller to do this? Oh well, I just won't bid on any. Won't affect anyone and the world will still turn.

I think sellers who use reserve auctions should have to register with local authorities and wear ankle bracelets. I much prefer harboring the delusion of bargain that no reserve auctions starting at a penny provide. 0 -
