Britney committed by shrink

According to Fox News, Britney was committed to UCLA Medical Center for "psychiatric evaluation" by her psychiatrist. They said she must be a danger to herself or others for her doctor to be able to do that. The FAA even cleared air space for the helicopter after an ambulance picked her up from her home. The way she's going, that girl isn't going to live to see 30.

    I believe the media had a lot to do with her breakdown... they just wont leave her alone...Its constant...24/7 never a break...

    i don't and never have liked her music. that being said i really feel for the girl. I think she was held to standards she couldn't handle and she had a melt down.

    I just feel so sorry for all those teenage millionaires and their itsy bitsy doggies; who is being paid thousands to watch the poor doggy while she gets her head washed, waxed, and buffed to a sheen?

    I'm pretty sure her troubles started when she told her Mom to get lost and hooked up with her high school boyfriend for a day, then got married to her backup dancer, then made friends with Paris and Nicole, then forgot how to put on her underwear (such a simple thing; wonder what made her forget how?), driving into papparazzi, dating papparazzi, and now, living without papparazzi.
    The best thing that could ever happen to her would be if she gave away all of her money, made up with her Mom, moved to a rural area (over by Doug!), and used both hands to get her --it together!

    Of course, this means that if she were a veteran; she'd be disarmed by her commitment, and the bill wouldn't help her get reinstated, right?[V]

    She had looks, talent, fame and fortune but lacked one thing everyone needs and deserves - a normal childhood. [V]

    I blame her parents for pushing her on stage at such a young age and depriving her of the normal progression and maturity of adolescence.

    I want to remind everyone that her mom is writing a "parenting" book.
    It has been put on hold because one daughter is nuts and the other is unwed pregnant.

    That's right spider. She had a terrible mother.
    Supposedly Mom sold the pregnant sister's story to the tabloids for a million bucks. What a loser.

    I feel bad for the kid, too, and pray she gets her life straightened out in spite of her greedy mother and her no-talent, womanizing, gambling, alcoholic, money-grabbing loser of an ex-husband. She's a perfect example of why money alone can't buy true happiness.

    I've been praying for her for months. I made a post reflecting that a while back. Nothing funny about mental illness, and nothing funny about a young woman suffering.
