Rem 700 bases

Are the Remington 700 bases for the 50 cal muzzle loader the same as the 700 short action center fire rifle? Just wanted to make sure before I purchased the wrong ones. Thanks for any help.

  Yes, they are, or get single bases. I got Leupolds Quick Release bases and rings. They work real nice and if hunting regs say no scopes, I can take it off and use the open sites. I also tried the new Leupold Muzzleloader scope with what they call the SABRE Reticle. Got it off Gunbroker at a very good price. The sellers name was Leupoldman - very good to deal with.
