Anybody shoot .44 Russian?
I've recently acquired a very nice Uberti "Schofield" chambered for .44 Russian. Have any of you guys any experience with this caliber? Any suggestions, sources for good-quality ammo, etc? Thanks.

For factory loads, both Ultramax and Black Hills make good cowboy loads.
It is just a short 44 Special, 44 Spl./ Mag dies will work. .429 - .430 size cast bullets. Trail Boss powder.0 -

yep...uberti 1872 open top in 44 russian... reload 44 russian up to 444 marlin 0
