tc contender

What do think of the tc contender in a 50 cal muzzleloader, being light will it kick to much, the encore is so heavy?

  i shot a contender carbine in 375JDJ and that kicked,i think if you get a good recoil pad on it you will be OK. eastbank(you don,t have to shoot 150grs of powder)

  I don't think TC recommends any ML for the contender and only the 45 ML for the G2.

  I have the G2 in 45cal and it kicks pretty good with a 100 gr charge so i would think the 50 cal would be worst but still shouldn't be that bad , i don't think i would want to use a 150 gr charge in one
