I ROLL MINE WITH JOB 1.5 CIGARETTE PAPER FOR MY CAP'n'BALL REVOLVERS. GET AN APPROPRIATE SIZE DOWEL (i use a fountain pen barrel for my 44's) SLIGHTLY SMALLER THAN YOUR BORE, SET THE PROJECTILE ON TOP AND WRAP THE PAPER AROUND THE STICK & BULLET. SLIDE IT OFF THE STICK AND SET ASIDE TO DRY. THEN ADD POWDER AND TWIST THE END. SOME FOLKS TEAR 'EM & DUMP 'EM BEFORE RAMMING 'EM HOME; I DON'T. BE AWARE THAT THERE MAY BE SOME SMOLDERING PAPER LEFT IN THE BORE AFTER FIRING[B)] AND RUNNING A WORM DOWN THE BORE IS HELPFULL IN REMOVING SUCH DEBRIS. YOUR MILAGE MAY VARY. AIN'T NO WAY TO FIGHT A WAR FOR SURE ! hope it helps.
    PEACE

When loading and shooting the musket, the paper DOES NOT go down the bore. The orignal paper ctgs were double wrapped in paper. They were broken apart and the powder was dupmed in the bore. The bullet was squeezed out of the remainder of the paper and inserted in the bore. All paper was discarded.

I remember reading a post similiar to this a while back, on of the responses was to use magicians paper, it burns like flash powder, I don't remember where he got it or how much it was.
