44 rimfire long

Anyone know where I could find some "new manufacture" 44 rimfire long cartiridges? I havea friend who has just aquired a Remington rolling block, with a 34 inch barrel chambered in 44 rimfire long and he would like to shoot it once or twice.

  I don't believe .44 rimfire has been made for at least 80 years. I saw a box of 50 rounds sell last month for $1,600. I know because I was bidding on them and stopped at $1,000.

  Dixie Gun Works sells the brass cases which can be reloaded. Here's a picture of them and a link to the description of how they work.
