Question about the Pedersoli 1858 Remington
Does anyone know the quality of the Pedersoli made 1858 Remington revolver? I wanted to purchase a new Pdersoli made 1858 with two extra cylinders from Cabelas.
I usually shoot my Uberti made 1858 Remington but it was purchased in the early 80's and I can't find extra cylinders that fir right.

I recently bought a Pietta (not Pedersoli) 1858 New Army w/ a 5 1/2 inch barrel through Cabelas. I think that most of the bp pistols that they sell are Pietta. You can read my full review along with 19 others at the Cabelas site (see link below). To sum it up in 2 words... It's great!

Hey thanks, I appreciate the reply. I hope your brother enjoys the Kentucky pistol replica! 0 -
I too own a Pietta 1858 repro that I got from Cabelas and I love it. It is pretty accurate for a 150 year old design. I used it last year to take a nice GA 5-point and it is my "in-between-groups" gun while at the range. 0 -
Thanks for the replies. I didn't have any first-hand experience with Pietta, so thanks for the info. 0 -
Pedersoli does make a Remington 1858 New Model Army but not sold throught Cabela's. They have their own dealers. They are made for competition shooting and are very expensive, $1000+. 0
