How far can it shoot

Good morning all, I was wondering in my quest for a new bow, how far on average can a recurve bow shoot (target and hunting quality)? Thanks.

  clear shot...20-30 yards would be ethical in my opinion [B)]. With a recurve you just have to be confident, bowhunting is tough, gotta get close. [;)]

  Last I checked target archers are still shooting target recurves at 90 meters. Now if you are talking ethical hunting distance that would be much less.
