Got my 2nd bird a couple days ago, first spring gobbler to get with archery gear and although he was a jake he had 7 beards...

I have only seen one other turkey with7 beards and it is the # 3 (last I heard) Merriam ever taken by the pro shop owner in Rochester, MN. Good shooting! I am taking my wife out in 2 weeks. Hope the birds are still active.
