Hello, my name is Dan, and I believe I am .....

I picked up my Bear Whitetail bow from the archery shop, where the owner put on a new string, a peep sight and sold me a wrist trigger thingy. (sorry, I don't know the words yet)
I stepped out to his target range, and he showed me how to shoot it and adjust the sights.
After a couple of adjustments I was putting my shots within 6" of the center of the target at a distance of twenty to twenty-five feet. [:D][:D][:D]
I will have a lot of practice ahead of me, but I am feeling pretty good about my chances of getting good at shooting it.
Time to start shooting and exercising my arms a bit.
Weeee doggie, this is going to be fun.

    Welcome to the addiction.... the wrist thingy is a release, there are different kinds but we won't go into that right now. [:D][;)]

    Welcome to the sickness, Dan! It will get in your blood and come August, you will not be able to think about anything else. You will lose sleep over it and the only thing that will satisfy you is to climb up a tree and sit for 6 hours hoping to get a shot at a deer. Good luck and good shooting!
