best bow hunting magazine?

My wife mentioned that she wanted to take up bow hunting next season. I don't know anything about bow hunting, and even less about specific magazines, but I wanted to get her a subscription to one as one of her Christmas presents. I was thinking of just going to book store and buying several different ones, and letting her choose the one she liked best.

Anyone here have some favorites they'd like to share?

    Thanks! I went to BAM today and picked up 4 different magazines and one product guide. They didn't have Peterson's, but I'll keep my eyes out for it.

    If I can find one, do you want me to send you an older issue so you can get a feel for the content? Not sure I have one laying around anymore but if I do and you want to see one, i'd send it. If ya got a walmart around I believe they carry them too

    Do a search for Petersons web site and you can get an idea of the articles they write. I don't get the magazine now but I seem to remeber they had a few lady writers, which should help encourage your wife a little.

    Take a look at : Deer and Deer Hunting: out of all the magazines I get this one is my fav.
