2 things
1st The box hasn't left yet, hope y'all don't mind but I took the broad heads out and gave them to my nephew yesterday. He's 15 and bow hunts by himself. He has no income cause of his age and school. He was down to 1 head and I thought giving them to him and keeping him out there was putting them to good use.
2nd, I took a guy out yesterday that has never been hunting but wanted to learn. he has no bow so he just went along and set in the camera man stand. I guess you can say I got a little caught up in it with him and shot me a little 8. I normally wouldn't shoot a buck or one this small until after my next weeks hunt. thats usually when I see all the good action and gun season is next weekend. So now I have to be choosy if I see a shooter but what ever. You should have heard this kid when the buck fell over. No sense hunting up there again for a few weeks. [:D] Jason and the buck.

Yes I am. bow hunting the 2 days before then gunnin for th 3. With only 1 buck tag left I may just hammer some doe. [:D]
And an update, my nephew shot one this morning at 7. I wanna be out there so bad to help track but I have kids nappin'. I'm so freakin ecxited for him. Doin the whole thing himself...atta boy!!!0 -

Nephew didn't recover his deer, [:(] , but he found this one. Said its a ten and he shot an eight that is wider than this ten.
I feel horrible for him but give him props he and his brother looked for 7 hrs. His brother doesn't hunt so I was pleasantly surprised to hear he was going to go help him look. They lost blood after it crossed a river. Said they only found a few spots of blood after that.
