Buck with Bow

I shot this 6 pointer this morning while he was chasing a few does around for about an hour. The hit was a little back a so I waited for 3 hours, then returned to the woods. I found him about 70 yards. There was very little blood ! I'm getting "THE RAGE" tomorrow !

  Congrats. Yoy will not be disappointed with rage. I am partial to the 2 blade, but buddy has downed 3 in Ohio and 1 in PA with 3 blade and we have not tracked more than 100 yards on any with 2 falling in sight. I really wish we had Sun. hunting in PA!

  Way to go Pete. Those New York deer have some big bodies compared to these Virginia deer. Cool looking rack.

  I got away from rage, couldn't get good pass threws, got slick tricks and they zip threw like butter. Good luck, good hunting

  Thanks, we grow'em big here in New York !
  I did not weigh this one but would guess he went at least 150#'s dressed.
  He was full of ticks so I quartered him right there in the woods.
  
  My heaviest deer was a 9 pointer shot with a gun in 1994.
  I brought him to a weigh station (after field dressing) and he was 202#'s.
  That was when I was a serious deer hunter, and a little younger ![:D]
  Here is a pic of the 9 pointer. He is on the right. The 6 on the left was shot by my buddy. It weighed 172# dressed.
  That was a good opening day !

  We grow bigger racked dear in NY also...lol Pete if not happy with current broadheads...may i suggest trying Magnus Stingers..[:D]
