    Plan of action?

Pretty much the same as it ever was, I guess

The same thing I will do if/when McChurian gets into office... only faster if possible.

It really does not matter what puppet is living in the white house.
Things will get much uglier before they get better and "WE THE PEOPLE" are the ones that will have to make it better. It is not bad enough yet, and we are just not peed off enough. When gas, food, and medicine become rationed will be the time when the people overthrow the criminals in the whitehouse.

    Here's my view on it;
Obviously it'll be very difficult to motivate us conservatives to assemble a well-armed militia to defend our rights and take back our country. Hell, we can't even get the conservatives to vote, much less pick up a 5 lbs rifle to defend our families. The damn liberals are ready and willing at the drop of a hat to run into the streets and protest gun laws and support gay rights. But when it comes to conservatives protesting the erotion of civil rights, we'll just let somebody else do it cause ... we need to change the oil in our weedeater! As far as a plan ... well, I have corn and watermelon seeds to plant, cattle to slaughter if need be, and plenty of ammo if the nation turns on its head.

It seems as if the majority of us would rather be left alone by the government and everyone else. This tends to breed a "hide in the woods with my guns" mentality.

Fortunately, if Obama is elected, the jack-booted thugs are not thawed out from their block of ice automatically ;)

He is just a man, even if he is elected president. He cannot just pound his fist on a lectern, burn the Constitution, imprison the Supreme Court, and pass State and Federal law

    A much better question is:

"Why don't we stop waiting around for the perfect candidate, and start to get our government working for the People and by the People again?"

We might begin by MAKING local schools teach Civics again, so kids grow up with an idea of how the country works, instead of the vast majority of kids having no clue and not caring

If we were to wait for the perfect candidate to answer all our dreams and wishes, then we have a long wait. But anyway, the Executive is one branch, not the US Federal and State government. I agree it's time to start looking hard at what's going on, but it's hardly time to panic and stock up on ammo

    Uh, yeah right.

You just go ahead and DON'T stock up on anything. Then when SHTF, you can stand there holding your nuts, wondering what has just happened.

Only a FOOL does NOT prepare for the future. If you can't see clearly what has happened, and what the future LIKELY holds, I have no pitty for you when it is too late. See, people like you don't realize that our turning point has LONG passed us. We are ALLREADY on the downhill side of things, and picking up speed at an enormous pace. It is only a LITTLE socialism, and a LITTLE tyranny right? Or better yet, as LT496 coins it, "collectivism". And he IS 100% correct.

"Never before, in the history of the world, have a people EVER voted themselves OUT of tyranny." THAT, sir, is a true and WISE statement.

Nothing short of a revolution, will ever change things here in the USA. Politicians are no longer SERVANTS of the people. They, in their twisted logic, belive WE are their servants. And because people refuse to resist, in reality we are. Until people OPEN their eyes, and look at those HUGE chains they wear, and actually Do something about it, it is just business as usual here in Amerika.

So, you just go ahead and cast your vote for which ever turd pleases you. Nothing will change.

lol. Your claws are showing, Tiger!

Well, since you're so free in your statements, you should know that it's my opinion that you didn't read two words in ten that I just posted, freemind, becasue I didn't say anything about how ANY of these candidates would be good or bad, and I also mentioned that the president can't just go changing things on his own. So I can't imagine what point you're trying to make here, friend.

You think a bad crop of presidential hopefuls and some high gas prices mean a bleak, no-return America in which you need a stockpile of ammo? Big Bad Obama's gonna grab your guns? Maybe your hound-dog, too. Definitely your sister, right? Can't have one of "them" coming to dinner, am I right, or am I right? Liberals, I mean

Well by all means, be that crazy guy. Build a cabin in the woods and make yourself a plywood girlfriend while you're at it; it's a free country and you're free to do that. Drown yourself in your negative attitudes and mutter about how it used to be. While you seem to dislike allowing me my opinions, I certainly will never stand in the way of allowing you to have your crackpot standpoint, because in case you never knew it, that's what America is all about. It makes you a flipping space cowboy in my opinion to feel as you do but hey, be whatever it is you want to be, and if anyone says you can't, I'll be the first one in line to pop that jerk one for you. I support your right to have that viewpoint even though I think it's stupid and close-minded, let alone defeatist. if you want to give up on the USA, knock yourself out. Even though it appears you have no confidence in our country I still think you should enjoy the freedoms you are enjoying.

Your signature is very ironic, in light of your statements. Maybe you should think about changing it

I do however require that you allow me to have my opinion, too. otherwise you can go pound sand

What Freemind was trying to tell you is that you need to stock pile supplies now.....because when the crap hits the fan blades, you will be unable to gather the supplies you need to survive. If you think the government will tell you to start stock piling supplies at any specific time, you are a bigger fool than I give you credit for.
Oh and by the way....you are behind the eight ball already.
And when the crap storm is here, don't come knock'in on my door !!
I am not giving anything away except hot screaming lead !

Nonsense. The thing to note is who is stockpiling now then when the SHTF go and knock them off and take their stuff. It helps if you can lull them into a sense of camaraderie and trust. Much easier to pull the rug out from under them then.

Here Here, I totally agree but would love to take it further. I think you should have to pass the citizenship exam before being allowed to posses a drivers license.

And an intelligence test in order to vote.

    Let me get this straight....

Prove you are a citizen to get a piece of Identification... Hmmm that sounds reasonable. The whole ability to drive is a little retarded.

Intelligence test to vote. Totally unrelated. Showing citizenship to vote would be a reasonable game plan, though..

Personally, I still don't like the idea of socioparasites voting, because A. They do not contribute to the system, and B. Because they should not have a say where the rest of us are taxed. A stay at home wife whose husband is productive, that's one thing... a professional couch potato, that's something else...

    Ha,

That is what you tell yourself. The first thing any wise man does when he discovers the hiding spots of a "wise" man is keep his mouth shut. You have no idea whether your secret is kept or not. You will not know until it is too late either.

Hmmm? What exactly is it you think you will win? A puffing contest? What makes you think I would even want to bother with you and your stuff. There is much better to be had. Even you know that.

No, I think I would win the fight and leave your corpse to the vultures.

See it is people JUST LIKE YOU, that I have no use for. As soon as a situation goes sour, the first thing you want to do is rob, murder, and rape your fellow citizens.
When you make moronic statement like you did, you make it clear that, not even for a second, should we trust ANYONE.

Even IF you ment your statement as humor, the underlying truth is, you would do just as you said. Murder and rob.
