Militia

Somewhere in the distant past I recall hearing or seeing that in the event of a sevre enough emergency, the Federal Government had the power to call anyone in to the military. We used to joke that once we had our discharge papers from the military it was women and children first, but anyone could be called to active duty at any time if the need arose.
