I think it is teetering on the edge too Highball.

I'd love to have it saved, since I spent some time and effort in "verbal jousting" and in crafting some, I think, pointed refutations of the "we love the NRA" crowd.

Any mods capably of advanced computer "thread" rescues?

    Captain;

That thread is perhaps the finest that I have seen on this forum...point by point. Without getting into the 'On Nov. 3rd, 1967,bla,bla,bla' your conversation has demolished the opposition and their tower of babble.

They FREELY admit..SEVERAL times..that the NRA collaborated with the enemy...and THEY JUST DON'T CARE !!

Leaving them with NOTHING save attacks on your person...

Pickenup, I believe, did the leg work ..putting together the data from 70 years of treachery from the NRA.I just lived thru the years since 1968, watching in ever growing discomfort as the NRA sold us down the river.

Operating from that data, making the factual case is easy.leaving them no ground to stand on.

After catching up on that thread this morning, I told the wife, that I expect it to go poof. LIKE OTHERS (on the same issue) HAVE, when facts were presented, and a good case made. This one shows the mind-set of "some" people.

I can't copy it "whole" either.
Only way I know of, is to do ONE response at a time.
That kind of destroys the "integrity" of the thread.

If I could, I would move it in here.
I'll ask ECC, maybe he will.

    Thanks, Pickenup...and thanks, ECC.
While I would have prefered it remain over 'there'...I would rather it be preserved then gone.

I think we got the major amount of 'goody' out of it for this hitch..and a powerful series of statements by the good Captain.

Thanks, Captain..wish I had known you thirty years ago. Perhaps we could have changed the course of history, while speaches and talking about it could well have made the difference between freedom...and what we labor under today.

    Thanks ECC and pickenup..

And to my internet friend Highball....right back at you and agreed on the 30 years ago comment, in total.

Now, we are left to joust at windmills and to occasionally call things as we see them.
