    That's your job![:0]
Man,.....have to put on the legal glasses, as we have 6 potential amendments to the state constitution.
Those are a blast to understand.[xx(]

No kidding Marc, all that lawyer doubletalk can fool you.

They try to write some of them so that you believe you know what you are reading, and it's an easy choice,............BUT there is a word or two in there that puts your answer opposite of what you intended.

We have a "gay marriage" ban on the slate this year,........that one's a no brainier.

I'm still trying to figure out this one about illegal aliens being able to own property, or open businesses though,.........sheesh!
    Time for research! Freakin lawyers.[xx(]

Actually this is something brought up by a "Chinese-American" group, and goes way back in history. Seems we are 1 of only 2 states to still have these laws that they want gone.
Better for you to look it up if you are interested,.......search Google under Florida Constitutional Amendment 1 2008 if you desire.

You have succeeded. Eric sees what's up now.

Sorry, about hi-jacking based on the illegal's thing. I shoul dhave just left it alone.

Anyway, I did see right off what you intended me to see, and just FYI, I had no doubts that you would anyway.[;)] I look forward to mine. It will be my first "for" vote ever for potus. NWO Bush1 was my first election vote "against". I was 18 years 6 months old.

Jeff,......you can input anything you wish on any of my threads![;)]

Funny thing was when I started my ballot,.....I wondered if I would hesitate before marking that "write-in" box.

I surprised myself, and filled in the oval, and proudly wrote the name of Ron Paul in with zero hesitation.

We are in the same boat bud,....this is the first time that I have not done the lesser of evils routine.
    I feel good![8D]

I am considering a total boycott of this election. I just registered daughter who will be 18 by the election. She is going to vote for the 1st time and she is kind of excited. I am educating her on the 2 clowns and letting her make her own choice.

#12,......all you can do is to inform her.

I know that Paul will not be elected, but I had to do what I did to make a statement for freedom, and the Constitution.
Maybe you will see to do the same?

Nothing will change my opinion of you though![;)]

    Thanks Marc
I have not missed an elections since I voted for my 1st - Ron Reagan.
I am sure I will pull the lever on Nov. 7
I am just frustrated with the crap selection !

Marc, I want to thank you for your choice for POTUS. Outstanding vote, and I'll guarantee you, that I will be doing the same. Canary Asses from all over the US will also be voting this way, and I will wonder how many votes Ron Paul will receive after Nov 4th. I'll bet the numbers will surprise us.

Ron, more like I wonder how many votes for Ron Paul will not be counted?

It was either vess1 or flat8 over in politics today made the point that the fix is totally in and there's nothing we can do. The crux of his argument was how did a guy who about 1 minute away from dropping out of the race entirely last December, end up being the choice??? Because he was the choice the elites wanted us to have.

You can be pretty much sure of that!
Regardless of the 2 choices (one of which WILL win),..........it stinks.[xx(]

You just cast your vote for Barry HUSSEIN Obama to appoint 2 - 3 hardcore anti-gun, anti-constitutionalist LIBERALS to the Supreme Court, for life. Congratulations.

And do you think Mcain is going to do any differently?

  • Tech141
Yes, I do. Bary HUSSEIN Obama's senate voting record speaks for itself. He's the worst sort of gun-grabbing Liberal that exists. He'll appoint the worst sort of Left-Wing Liberal-lackey judges to the soon-to-be-vacant Supreme Court spots. He's an evil-Muslim-leaning-by-HIS-OWN-PUBLISHED-WORDS POS.

Hey, I WISH Ron Paul Paul was a Viable candidate, but he's not. He, himself, took his candidacy off the books. He KNEW he'd split the conservative vote just like Ross Perot did. THAT got Bill "I did not have sexual relations with that woman" Clinton in the office.

Damn, folks, wake the heck up. This election has more at stake than who sits in the Oval Office for the next 4 years. It expands to who is on the Supreme court for life. Do you REALLY want someone who thinks William Ayers and the "supposed Rev" Wright are Great Folks, deciding who puts their backsides in Supreme Court seats is a good thing? I think NOT.
Unfortunately, Ron Paul can't truly get elected, no matter what the 'good intentions' of his supporters is. The reality is that he's NOT electable.

Having Barry HUSSEIN Obama in the Supreme-Court-Decision-seat scares the hell out of me.

mccain voted to confirm the two most socialist scumbag scroutus justices sitting.

  • Tech141
And Barry HUSSEIN Obama is WAY left of him. Who the Heck do you think HE'LL appoint? Do YOU want William Ayers or Rev Wright in tnhe Supreme Court slots? Yes, he could actually try to appoint those two. Heck, he's already telling us what we can and cannot talk about. He's quite the supporter of our constitution, NOT! Get a freakin' clue.

Ron Paul is NOT A VIABLE CANDIDATE! Damn, I wish folks would just realize that already....... HE is NOT electable... doesn't have the support base. He's the best of the three for the job, but HE QUIT and doesn't have the support...

tech1, calm yourself. It is simple. The system has reached critical mass. Those of us that are upsetting you so much, are taking this last chance to, "voice our opinion". The alternative for us is not to vote. We see it for what it truly is. So we are hurt neither "candidate"*cough*

    Sorry, Tech;
You continue to vote for evil. I choose not to.

    Vote for open borders, swarms of barbarians getting Social Socurity, free medical care;
    Vote for gun control;
Vote for endless wars, bankrupting the treasury.

Pretend to yourself you are doing what is right by your country.

You and the rest of the party hacks can slap each other on the back, as the country burns. Rest easy..the fact that you had a hand in it will cause you not one moments loss of sleep...personal responsibility not being high on your list of things you worry about.

Pretty much says it for me, and that is why I did what I did!

I would never vote for Obama,........but I also could not vote for McCain.
He has switched so many positions since he became the candidate, I'm surprised he isn't dizzy.

What do you figure he will do if he wins?
Answer,........switch back to his original, and "genuine" views.
At that point he will say, "Well you guys knew what I really stood for,......right?"

NO Marc, he will say his tired old line "I was reaching across party lines".

You think with the "R" behind his name, that his "party" will say much? Don't think so, and neither will his VP.

    ARGH..............

All that I'm saying is that there is more at stake in this election than who sits in the Oval orifice for the next 4 years. Look at it Strategically.....
