VA gonna lose more info
Got a buddy that worked as an Anti-Hacker for DOD as a contractor. He was dead set on going Civil Service....tried to talk him out of it but now he works for the VA as a computer IT person.
He says the entire VA IT staff at his location are all nothing but secretaries. They have no real computer database or programming knowledge and were hired because they had time in service and it was considered a promotion. None can do much besides plug in mouses and keyboards.
They are all threatened by his knowledge and won't let him do a dang thing in fear the bosses will realize what's supposed to be done and that they've been screwing up for years. He's pretty peed off and already is thinking about quitting.
That's the status of our VA. Still incompetent. Whata corrupt system we have in Govt. for employment.
