spincasting question
Is there anyone out there that still uses a spincasting reel to fish with? I am looking for one for general all around fishing to keep in my truck in case I need a quick fix. Thanks for all responses.

The last spincast I ever used was a Shakespeare Synergy and it worked well. 0 -
I slid on over to Bass Pro this afternoon and picked up a Daiwa 40SC Procaster. This little reel feels good on the rod, and is all metal for $24.00. I got a practice plug to try it out tomorrow when I get home from work to see how far I can cast out with it. 0 -
I still use Zebco reels and rods for bullheads (horned mudpout). The old 33 and 202 still catch them. 0 -
I really like the Zebco 808 for catfishing at night,no backlash and plenty of power 0 -
Whatcha fishing for? I use the Okuma and Shimano reels for Steelhead and Salmon. Both great. Okuma less expensive. Both have multiple ball bearings and smoooooth drags. 0 -
I was looking for a general purpose spincaster for bass and larger. Thanks. 0
